The target group of the project consists of holders of temporary protection. In the event that the temporary protection regime is abolished during the project implementation, the target group will also include individuals who held temporary protection prior to its abolition and now possess valid residence permits for stays exceeding 90 days.
Project Description: The target group will be provided with group Czech language courses tailored to meet their needs. These courses will be designed as Czech as a foreign language classes, specifically for holders of temporary protection who are 18 years of age or older.
The content and focus of the courses will reflect the specific needs of the target group in each region. Participants will be offered courses aimed at developing practical communication skills, as well as courses designed for specific situations, such as job preparation, job searching, preparation for professional examinations, or courses tailored to specific professions (e.g., Czech for healthcare workers, hospitality staff, educators, etc.).
The courses will be available in both in-person and online formats. The levels of the courses will range from A1 to B2. Each participant’s course level will be determined based on their existing language skills to ensure the most effective learning experience.
The project benefits include not only enhancing the integration of temporary protection holders from Ukraine into Czech society but also supporting their self-sufficiency, preventing social exclusion, and, last but not least, deepening their knowledge of the Czech language.
