Social-Activization Service in Ústí nad Labem

Based on our long-term practice, we offer free social activation services for families with children to foreigners living in the Czech Republic. These services are provided within the framework of the registered social service Social Activation Services for Families with Children according to Act No. 108/2006 Coll., on Social Services.

Working hours of ambulatory and field forms of provision:

  • Monday          8:00 – 17:00
  • Tuesday          8:00 – 16:00
  • Wednesday    8:00 – 17:00
  • Thursday        8:00 – 16:00
  • Friday              8:00 – 15:00 (reserved for administrative tasks, urgent cases and for clients with prior appointment)

Target group:

  • Families of migrants and asylum seekers with a child/children with a valid residence permit in the Czech Republic, the exact scope of which is defined in Section 4 of Act No.108/2006 Coll., on Social Services.
  • The service is intended for families with children in need or who, due to language and cultural barriers, are not able to orient themselves sufficiently in the Czech environment.

We provide:

  • Educational, training and activation activities.
  • Information on the rights and responsibilities of families.
  • Accompaniment and assistance in communication with school, authorities, offices, doctors and other institutions.
  • Tutoring of children, integration and leisure activities.
  • The aim of the service is to strengthen the independence and competence of families in dealing with challenging life situations and to help create a safe and supportive environment for children’s development.
