This year, the Colourful Planet festival returns to the centre of Ústí nad Labem. It will take place on Saturday 9.9.2023 on Mírové Square, Lidické Square and in the atrium.
“The purpose of the festival is to introduce the general public to the communities of foreigners living in the Czech Republic and to offer an opportunity for non-traditional meetings, mutual recognition and enrichment. The aim is to bring closer the traditions, customs and culture from different parts of the world, and through music, dance and gastronomic specialties to create a friendly atmosphere and bring us closer to each other.” Jan Kubíček, director of the Ústí nad Labem branch of the Counselling Centre for Integration and organiser of the festival, explains.
