Financing: From the state budget of the Czech Republic under the programme „Integration of Foreigners 2022“ co-financed by the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic.
The aim of the project is to provide direct assistance to foreigners from third countries at the foreigners‘ residence departments of OAMP in Ústí nad Labem, Chomutov and in the field, in places with a higher concentration of the target group. Emphasis is placed on the individual needs of service users and their specific life situations. The provided counselling, interpreting and assistance services lead to improvement of the users‘ awareness of their rights and obligations. In addition, users are informed about the possibilities of employment in the labour market in the Czech Republic, about the social, health and educational system in the Czech Republic. Direct assistance is provided by consultants for foreigners, a consultant of the residence agenda, intercultural workers and assistants of the Counselling Centre for Integration.
The target group of the project are foreigners from third countries legally residing on the territory of the Czech Republic under the Act on the Residence of Foreigners 326/1999 Coll. The additional group are persons granted international protection in the Czech Republic under the Act on Asylum 325/1999 Coll.
The main benefit of the project is to increase the awareness of the target group and to eliminate obstacles to successful integration.
